SPSP Celebrates the Appointment of Prof. Chris Kwaja, fspsp, as Special Envoy on Peace and Security to the Governor of Plateau State

The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) is proud to announce the appointment of one of our esteemed fellows, Professor Chris Kwaja, fspsp, as the Special Envoy on Peace and Security to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

On behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), ably led by Mr. Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp, the Central Working Committee (CWC), the Board of Trustees (BOT), and the entire SPSP family worldwide, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Kwaja on this prestigious and well-deserved appointment.

Prof. Kwaja’s wealth of experience, scholarship, and deep commitment to peacebuilding make him uniquely suited for this critical role. We are confident that his leadership will contribute significantly to strengthening Plateau State’s peace and security architecture and fostering long-term, sustainable solutions.

As a distinguished fellow of SPSP, Prof. Kwaja exemplifies the values and mission of our Society. His accomplishments continue to inspire and uplift our community of peace scholars and practitioners across Africa and beyond.
